Variable Life Insurance Producers License.
To obtain this license you must pass the NASD series 6 exam and file your
registration number with the New Jersey
Department of Banking and Insurance.

SERIES 6:
Investment Company Products / Variable
Contacts Limited Representative:
To be registered as an
Investment Company/Variable Contract
Limited Representative with the NASD and
be qualified to sell investment company
securities and variable contracts, a
person must pass the Series 6 exam.
Topics

SERIES 63 –
Uniform Securities Agent:
Series 63 prepares
representatives for registration as a
uniform securities agent. Series 63 is
required in addition to the Series 6 to
qualify an individual to sell securities.
SERIES 7 – General Securities Representative:
To be
registered as a General Securities
Representative with the NASD and be
qualified to sell most types of
securities, a person must pass the Series
7 exam. The Series 7 exam is a six-hour,
250-question qualifications test.
